In a couple of weeks, we will be celebrating Easter. It is celebrated in many countries around the world and in countries like the United States, the celebration of Easter is marked with large events and festivities.
It is a religious holiday, but some of its customs, such as Easter eggs, are linked to pagan traditions. The egg, an ancient symbol of new life, has been associated with pagan festivals celebrating spring. During Lent, eggs are forbidden food and return to the menu on Easter Day.
But, why do we have decorated eggs at Easter?
